Farrah’s was first established in 1840. The Original Harrogate Toffee is similar to both Butterscotch and Barley Sugar but it has a unique flavour and is still Handmade to a secret recipe in our Harrogate Factory.

My Father and I bought Farrah’s in 1997 where we saw an opportunity to develop the already world famous brand. Over the last seven years with the help of our management team, Richard Horsman, John Maughan and Angela McLeod we now have a product range of Branded and Own Label products that could not be replicated by any other company.

We pride ourselves on the quality of both the products and packaging of the Farrah’s Branded Range and the flexibility of our own label facility. We produce all the artwork and printing of the own label products in the Harrogate Factory, making the process quicker and more efficient.

In June 2003 we purchased Bainbridges, a quality cake manufacturer after the proprietor Mrs Bainbridge decided to retire after over 40 years of production. The cakes are now produced by hand in our Harrogate Factory to the same recipes and methods. We are now able to offer these quality cakes under our customers own label.

Running parallel to the manufacturing business Farrah’s also has three retail outlets, The Oldest Chemist Shop in England - Knaresborough, Farrah’s Fine Chocolate Shop - Masham and our new flagship store, Farrah’s Food Hall - Harrogate.

Thank you for your interest in our company & products.

Regards.
